The Lexington Club, a distinguished private city club, offers an exclusive platform for members to engage in networking activities. The club, established in 1860, is steeped in the rich history of Lexington, Ky, with a unique ambiance. Location

  • The Lexington Club is conveniently located in Downtown Lexington, Kentucky at 170 Esplanade Street between E Main Street and E Short Street.

Operating Hours:

  • Lunch: Tuesday thru Friday, 11:30 am-2:00 pm
  • Dinner: Monday thru Thursday, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm    Friday and Saturday, 6:00 pm-10:00 pm

Dress Code:

  • Collared shirts are required in all Club rooms at all times
  • A sport coat is required for dinner in the Phoenix Room but optional in other areas
  • Denim is acceptable in the bar for lunch only (dark jeans, no holes, frays or rips)
  • Home UK ballgame nights – Dress is casual throughout the Club. No denim.

Cell Phone Use:

  • Cell phone use is prohibited in any Club dining area, while they may be used in the living room. The penalty for a ring is that the member must buy everyone in the room a drink. Members are responsible for the ring of their guests.

Smoking:

  • The club is non-smoking, with the exceptions of the Ellis Room (bar) where smoking is permitted until 6:30 and upstairs in the Governor’s Room.

Parking:

  • Parking is available by meter in front of the Club on Esplanade Street as well as Main Street and Short Street. Parking is also available in the Chase Bank garage on Esplanade Street across from the Club entrance.
